For over twenty years, Zanmi Lasante has been at the forefront of HIV care in Haiti, demonstrating that quality care is possible even in low-resource settings. Today, these crucial advances are threatened by potential funding cuts. Such a withdrawal would jeopardize not only vital HIV treatment, but also the entire healthcare system, impacting maternal care, nutrition and chronic disease management.
