In the face of rising violence in Mirebalais and surrounding areas, the Hôpital Universitaire de Mirebalais (HUM), supported by Partners In Health and our sister organization Zanmi Lasante, has been forced to temporarily suspend its services. A painful decision, but necessary to protect our patients and staff.

The current situation is unprecedented. But our commitment remains unwavering.

For over a decade, the HUM has remained a pillar of care for thousands of people, even in the darkest of times. Even today, in spite of blockages, our teams continue their work elsewhere in the country, with the same sense of duty and willingness to serve.

In these uncertain times, every word counts.
